Food has always been at the heart of who I am. Growing up, it was more than a passion—it was a constant source of inspiration, creativity, and connection. Over the years, that passion evolved into a career deeply rooted in the restaurant and hospitality industry.

I’ve worked hands-on with numerous restaurants, leading concept transformations, menu development, branding, and business consulting, helping brands evolve, refine their identity, and elevate their guest experience. I’ve had the opportunity to work closely alongside Michelin-star–level chef, contributing not only to marketing and creative direction, but also to the overall vision and execution of restaurant concepts.

Catering has always been a dream of mine—one that allowed me to bring everything I love together: food, design, storytelling, and unforgettable experiences. Ambridge is the realization of that vision. It was created to deliver elevated catering that feels intentional, refined, and immersive—where every detail matters, from the menu to the presentation.

This journey would not be complete without the partnership of Jose Martinez, Head Chef, who brings 25 years of restaurant industry experience and has also worked alongside Michelin-star chefs. Together, we share the same commitment to excellence, authenticity, and creating food that leaves a lasting impression.

Meet Jose Martinez

Head Chef

Jose Martinez is the Head Chef of Ambridge Catering, bringing over 25 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. His passion for food began at a young age, working hands-on in kitchens and restaurants where he developed a deep respect for technique, flavor, and authenticity.

Throughout his career, Jose has worked closely with restaurant owners to develop menus, create new dishes, and elevate concepts, consistently bringing fresh ideas and refined execution to every project. Known for his creativity and precision, he has a natural ability to introduce new flavors, modern presentations, and thoughtful design to each dish.

Jose specializes in pizza made completely from scratch, authentic Chinese cuisine, and elevated Italian and Mexican cuisine. His cooking reflects a balance of tradition and innovation—honoring classic techniques while introducing new elements that keep each menu exciting and memorable.

Having also worked alongside Michelin-star–level chefs, Jose brings discipline, craftsmanship, and attention to detail into every plate. His dedication to quality, consistency, and creativity is at the core of Ambridge’s culinary identity.

For Jose, cooking is more than a profession—it’s a lifelong passion driven by the desire to create food that connects people, tells a story, and leaves a lasting impression.
